Hi, I'm Paula!
Hi, I'm Paula, the lady behind the camera at Paula Hould Photography and I'm happy to have you here! I'm a mom to two "kidults". My daughter is 25 and my son is 23 and they are both college graduates. My daughter is currently living her dream working at Walt Disney World as part of the Disney College Program and my son completed his MBA and is working at his first full-time job. I have NO IDEA how they got so old, so quickly. If your kiddos are little, DON'T BLINK because they will be adults before you know it and you won't know how it happened so fast.
Photography has been my way to capture the moments and memories of my family's life, ever since I was a teen. Family gatherings, holidays, vacations, backyard parties, my son's sports & my daughter's dance ....these memories are the ones that make up the MANY albums in our home.
Being able to capture a moment in time through photography is such a gift and I'd be thrilled to share that gift with you!
Fun Facts For Getting To Know Me
I've been married, since 1994, to my wonderful husband Chris. We met while working at our local supermarket; I was a cashier and he was a bagger. We were friends for 5 years before I finally agreed to go on a date and as they say, the rest is history.
I drink Iced Tea daily and year round...even on the coldest days of the crazy New England winters. I don't like coffee so I've got to get my caffeine from someplace, am I right???
I LOVE ALL THINGS DISNEY!!! And I especially love vacationing at Walt Disney World. And yes, I vacation there often. I've visited 25+ times between both US parks. It truly is the Happiest Place on Earth!!! Oh, and my adult kids, still love to go too!
My friends would tell you that I'm organized, reliable, ambitious and supportive. My family would say that I'm helpful TO A FAULT! I can't help myself but to answer stranger's questions or need for information. And those that know me best know that I'm loyal, passionate and love to learn and teach others.
My "3 seconds of fame" moment came as a college cheerleader, when the live camera panned the sidelines of the NCAA Division II Basketball Championship game. I was on ESPN!!!!
I'm a LOUD & PROUD member of Red Sox & Patriots Nation, and support the Bruins and Celtics as well (sorry Revs). I really enjoy watching all sports; professional level all the way down to youth sports. There's just something about watching the heart, soul and competition of sports that speaks to me.
My Travel Bucket list: the Grand Canyon, the National Parks in the western part of the US, Hawaii, Alaska, Tuscany, the Disney parks outside of the US, and to see a baseball game in every Major League Baseball Park in the country. Bonus points if the Red Sox are playing :-)
